12/20/2002 Archived Entry: "Jen and Greg's Day Out"
Ah ha! We managed to get our butts out of the house for something other than shopping! We took a little trip to the quiet psuedo-fishing mostly-tourist village of Steveston to brave the bitter cold and take winter sunset pics over the fishing boats and the ocean.

Was a great afternoon, spending time shivering with Jen!

You didn't feed the duckies? Evil person you. Actually, it's a bad idea to feed them. It can cause them to stay in the area due to food and not migrate south for the winter. Duckies don't do too well at -20°. Posted by Avium @ 12/20/2002 11:38 PM PST |

Lovely pictures. I wish I had your talent for capturing natural beauty ... ah well, I'm just not an artist. :) Posted by Bugarup @ 12/21/2002 07:57 AM PST |

Jeff: Thanks, I've fixed it. Two domains access it and it wasn't sure what to do in both cases. Greg Posted by Greg @ 12/21/2002 09:58 AM PST |

Greg: Trust me, there is a real fishing village hidden under the recently added yuppie trappings. I worked seiners out of Steveston. Next time Lori and I will go with you and I'll see if I can get us onto the Canfisco docks and over to Finn Slough. Avium: -20 (in either scale) is not likely to happen here. We'll stay well above freezing most of the winter. Posted by bomand @ 12/26/2002 03:45 PM PST |
